Kmart customer shocked at the ENORMOUS box for her online order

A stunned customer has slammed Kmart online after receiving a single product in a ‘huge’ home delivery box filled with metres of plastic packaging.

Lisa Oliveiro, from , ordered a large number of buys from the retail giant and was expecting them to be delivered in the one box that arrived on her doorstep, but she was devastated when she found just one metal salad spoon inside.

In a video posted on her Instagram story, Lisa is seen pulling out five metres of packaging before finding the spoon at the bottom of the box.

In September a flood of shoppers took to the Kmart Hacks and Décor Facebook group with images of their delivered items and many said they ‘expect more’ from the popular retail store.

A Kmart spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia they have shared Lisa’s example with their online team who will be ‘continuing to review the way they manage and replenish packaging materials during this busy time of year.’

‘Regrettably, in this instance it appears the team member who has packed this order did not have available or use the most appropriately sized packaging components,’ the Kmart spokesperson said.

‘While our team are trained and aim to minimise packaging use and waste, it is likely that they did not have access to appropriately sized packaging options so used what was available in an effort to pack and dispatch this order as quickly as possible to beat the Christmas rush.’
